I am an audiovisual maker based in The Hague, The Netherlands.

With roots in both Javanese-Surinamese and Jewish-Dutch lineages, my most recent works explore themes of identity, finding inspiration in personal and familial memories, while uncovering the complexities of Dutch colonial and Jewish history. By expanding on these themes, the goal is to create a space for reflection on personal and collective identity and heritage.

My process often begins with a blend of writing and collage-making, allowing me to delve into the depths of storytelling through words, images, and colors. This way, I explore the most effective and authentic way to shape the narrative, which is completed through movement and the element of sound.
